What does "Aadi" mean?

Aadi is a Sanskrit word that means "beginning" and is often used as a name for Lord Shiva, the original Yogi. At Aadi Yoga, we honor this deep spiritual connection by returning to the roots of yoga — breath, awareness, and mindful movement — to create space for healing.

Meet Coach Sohan

1995

The Beginning

Started yoga at age 8 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jammu. First experienced the profound calm of Savasana under the open sky.

2010

Life-Changing Decision

Left corporate job at Siemens Infotech to pursue yoga teaching. Completed Yoga Instructor Certification by December.

2011

Teaching Journey Begins

Started sharing yoga with people from all walks of life, focusing on health, wellness, and inner peace.
